Major Cost and Spend Category Strategies

December 6-8, 2006
Atlanta, GA

How do you develop and implement major cost and spend category strategies?

Synopsis

Continuing The Center for Strategic Supply Leadership's mission of shaping the future of supply management and procurement, this executive program will focus on the approaches you can take to implement and manage category strategies within your organization. We will look at the benefits of implementing various approaches to category management—including direct and indirect spend categories, how to identify the key strategies of each category, how to determine who owns the strategies internally, and how you can measure and report your metrics and accomplishments.

You are invited to join the CSSL faculty, Trustees, and an intimate group of your peers to target the growth of supply through this key capability component.

Program Focus

  • Identify major category strategies and segment distinctions between physical and service—and direct and indirect—categories.
